Your Experience

Imagine yourself leaving the busy-ness of your life for awhile...taking a short drive out to the country.  Someplace quiet, where you can relax and rejuvenate.  Feel yourself settle as you enter a tranquil room and melt into a zero-gravity chair. Nestled in with a cozy blanket and a soft pillow under your feet, you notice the gentle music playing, enticing you to let your mind wander or maybe just let go.

This is YOUR time.  Close your eyes, let yourself relax.  There's no need for a cell phone here.  No need for conversation.  All I ask is for you to let me know when you feel any sensitivity as I work on your feet.  I will work through each foot thoroughly to ensure that every system in your body has been reviewed.  At the end of the session, you will feel relaxed and renewed.

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology is often thought of as a massage or a "foot rub".  Let's clarify this:  a massage is a palpation of soft tissue (ie: muscles), whereas, reflexology is the application of pressure to specific reflex points which correspond to different parts of the body.  So, while it feels amazing, it is actually doing so much more for you.   It helps your body to eliminate toxins through the lymphatic system and gives your circulatory system a boost of energy.  All of which brings about a state of peace and harmony.

Reflexology is a science and an art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears that reflect the entire body - every gland and organ.  By applying pressure with specific thumb and finger techniques, Reflexology will reduce tension, promote relaxation, increase circulation and bring the body back into balance.

Reflexology dates back thousands of years to Eastern civilizations - the oldest being a papyrus dated 2330 B.C. that was found in a Physician's tomb in Egypt.

Many cultures have used various forms of Reflexology as a healing therapy.
