My Background:

My Story:

I was introduced to Reflexology back in 1987 when a friend suggested we take an introductory course on it.  I started practicing on my family immediately and was amazed at the quick results we achieved and the relief it brought.  I continued to self-study and work on family and friends for about 26 years.  I always wanted to get my certification but just never had the time required to complete it.  A couple of years ago, when a co-worker was seeking some relief, I offered Reflexology and honestly felt a spark and a desire to become Certified in this wonderful modality!   I achieved my Diploma in Foot Reflexology in May of 2015.  I continued to work on clients in the evenings until I decided to fulfill this dream of helping people and quit my job of 32+ years in July 2016.  I have seen reflexology affect people in amazing ways!  Come see what it can do for you!

Along my journey, I have been drawn to various interests that have all contributed to who I am now and how I have grown and developed.  Years back, my sister took me to a Yoga class which eventually led me to teacher training.  I have been teaching weekly classes for about 7 years now.  During this time, I had the opportunity to learn Thai Yoga Massage from the Master himself, Kam Thai Chow.  I like to think of it as "passive yoga" as it requires no effort from you and is deeply relaxing.  There are elements of reflexology in this as well.  I also am trained in Reiki, having received my Level I and II.  In all of these interests, commonalities lie within that solidify the knowledge of the Eastern cultures for me.  Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda have been practiced for centuries!  Why wouldn't we consider employing these beliefs?  I do beleive there is a place for "Western medicine" but there is always room for an adjunct therapy!
